I grew up around cameras long before I understood what filmmaking really was. It began when my father introduced me to photography at the age of eleven. What started as curiosity quickly turned into a lasting fascination. Ever since then, creating images and films has been an inherent part of my life.
I began my professional career in television. I completed my visual media design apprenticeship at a local TV station, where I learned the craft from the ground up. Working in studio environments and on reportage productions taught me to observe carefully, react quickly, and understand how images carry meaning, even under pressure and to tight deadlines.
Working in television and on documentaries shaped my sense of visual storytelling directly. They trained my eye, my timing, and my ability to stay focused and reliable in fast-paced situations. These years laid the foundation for how I work on set today.
Over time, my growing interest in fictional storytelling evolved from this background. Coming from factual formats, I developed a strong appreciation for structure, rhythm and intention. These qualities translate directly into narrative filmmaking and camera work.
I am based in Berlin, specialising as a 1st Assistant Camera. I value precision, clear communication, and maintaining a calm and focused workflow on set. My background enables me to understand the technical and creative requirements of a project, with the ultimate goal of serving the image and the story.
